Its FAQ, in German, says both your drinks at the Satoshi Bar and your overnight stay can be paid in bitcoin. For the bar, it adds a fast digital option: bitcoin over the Lightning Network. The bar is a self-service bar with chilled drinks, open 24 hours a day. The FAQ does not explain the steps for paying a room in bitcoin. Write to the hotel before you book, and ask for the payment address or invoice and the deadline. ## How does check-in work without a reception? Online. The hotel says it runs without a classic reception desk. Check-in, payment and access to your room happen online, and your digital key arrives by email. Payment is made before arrival as a rule. On the booking page you can pay by credit card, Giropay, PayPal or Google Pay. At the self-check-in terminal, a credit card or a Girocard works. Cash is not possible. ## What ID rules apply at a hotel in Germany? German law asks hotels to register foreign guests. Under Section 29 of the Federal Registration Act, foreign guests fill in a form on arrival. They sign it and show a valid passport. With the guest's consent, the hotel may collect the data electronically instead. The guest then confirms the data on arrival, for example with a card payment with strong authentication or an electronic ID. The hotel's FAQ does not describe its own method. Only when it appears in the live results for your dates, and we cannot promise it will. A StaySats booking is prepaid and made on request: you pay StaySats in crypto, and we pay the hotel in euros. The hotel's own bitcoin option is not used for the room. The total is held on your balance and charged only when the hotel confirmation number is issued. You could still pay your Satoshi Bar drinks in bitcoin on site. Yes. The FAQ signs as "Princess No. 3 (formerly Hotel Princess)", at Widdumstr. 3 in 73207 Plochingen, Germany. Older articles and lists of bitcoin hotels use the old name. Our index keeps the old name in the row title so that both names lead here. ### Can I pay Hotel Princess with Lightning? At the Satoshi Bar, yes: the FAQ names bitcoin over the Lightning Network as a fast digital option there. For the room, the FAQ says bitcoin without naming Lightning. Ask the hotel which method it uses for a stay before you book. ### Can I pay Hotel Princess with USDT or other coins? The FAQ names bitcoin only. We found no mention of USDT, USDC or other coins. If you hold USDT, StaySats takes it on TRC-20 or ERC-20 and pays the hotel in euros, when the hotel is in our live results. ### Can I pay Hotel Princess in cash? No. The FAQ says cash payment is not possible. You pay before arrival, as a rule, by card, Giropay, PayPal or Google Pay online, or in bitcoin. The self-check-in terminal takes a credit card or a Girocard. ### Does Hotel Princess ask for a deposit? Its FAQ does not mention a deposit. Payment usually happens before arrival, which covers the room. Ask the hotel whether it holds a card for extras or damage, since there is no front desk to settle them at departure. ### Where is Hotel Princess? In Plochingen, a town on the Neckar river near Stuttgart, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The address is Widdumstr. 3, 73207 Plochingen. The hotel lists it in its FAQ as PRINCESS No.3.
