## How do you pay a Kessler Collection hotel in crypto?

At the end of your stay. The group's page "Pay with BitPay" asks guests to notify a front desk agent upon check-out. You then pay the bill from your own wallet through BitPay, a payment processor that converts the coins for the hotel.

In March 2021, the trade press described the same flow in more detail. Each hotel emailed the guest an invoice, and the guest paid it from a crypto wallet. Ask the hotel how it sends the invoice today before you arrive.

## Which coins does The Kessler Collection accept?

Twelve, per its BitPay page on October 12, 2026:

- **Seven coins:** Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC).
- **Five USD stablecoins:** BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP.

USDT is not on the list. The page names no network for each coin, so check the BitPay invoice before you send. A payment sent on the wrong network may be lost.

## Which Kessler Collection hotels take crypto?

The BitPay page presents crypto as an option of the whole collection, but it does not name each hotel. In March 2021, Lodging Magazine said all 8 corporate-owned hotels of the group would accept it. It listed these hotels:

## Does this mean Marriott accepts crypto?

No. The JW Marriott in Savannah carries a Marriott brand, but The Kessler Collection lists it among its own hotels. The crypto option comes from Kessler, the owner, not from Marriott. This is the limit of any group-level status. One hotel can take crypto at its desk while its brand does not, and the reverse can also happen.

## Can I book a Kessler Collection hotel through StaySats?

### Can I pay The Kessler Collection with USDT?

Not per its BitPay page. On October 12, 2026, the page listed USDC, DAI, GUSD, USDP and BUSD as stablecoins, but not USDT. If you hold USDT, you can swap it for USDC before your stay. Or book with StaySats, which takes USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20 and pays the hotel in local currency.
