Bookings are made on request: after checkout we book the room for you. The status changes to Confirmed when the hotel confirmation number is issued. We will publish a median time once 30 days of real bookings are measured. If we cannot confirm in time, the amount is released. ### Will the hotel ask for a credit card at check-in? Often, yes. Paying ahead with StaySats does not remove the hotel's incidental deposit at check-in. Your room is prepaid, but many hotels ask for a card or a cash deposit for extras.
