What did Las Golondrinas announce?

Stablecoin payments for guests who book directly. The release, dated November 19, 2025 in Buenos Aires, says guests can pay for stays, events and experiences in USDT or USDC. Payments run on Polkadot Asset Hub, a network with fees below one US cent per transfer, per the release.

Guests can pay from Nova Wallet, a Polkadot wallet, or send the coins from a large exchange. The release names Binance, KuCoin, Crypto.com, Gate.io, Bitfinex, CoinEx and MEXC. It also promised 20% off reservations and in-house services paid through Asset Hub.

Why is the status "reported" and not "yes"?

Because the only sources are a press release and articles based on it. Our index gives "Yes" only when the company's own website says so. On October 12, 2026, we found no official booking or payment page of the group that names stablecoins.

The sources also differ on where it applies. The English release speaks of the brand's hotels in four countries. Revista Mercado, an Argentine business magazine, named Mar del Plata, Ecuador, El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. Ask the hotel you plan to book before you send any coins.

Can I send USDT on Tron or Ethereum to pay Las Golondrinas?

Not according to the announcement. It names Polkadot Asset Hub, not Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20). A stablecoin sent on the wrong network may be lost, so ask the hotel for the exact network and address in writing.

If you withdraw from an exchange, pick the Polkadot Asset Hub network in the withdrawal form, if the exchange offers it. Send a small test amount first. Our guide TRC-20 or ERC-20 for hotels explains why the network matters.

Can I book Las Golondrinas through StaySats?

Only when one of its hotels appears in the live results for your dates, and we cannot promise one will. A StaySats booking is prepaid and made on request: you pay StaySats in crypto, and we pay the hotel in local currency. The group's own stablecoin option, and its 20% launch offer, do not apply.

We take USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20) and USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), not on Polkadot. The total is held on your balance and charged only when the hotel confirmation number is issued. See how it works and pricing.
