Does Radisson accept crypto, debit cards or cash?
No crypto payment, as of October 12, 2026. Radisson's FAQ says participating hotels accept only credit cards for the pre-authorization at check-in. So a debit card or cash may not cover the hold. The amount depends on the hotel and your stay, and it is released up to five days after departure. StaySats prepays the room in crypto only.

Does Radisson accept bitcoin or other crypto?
Not as a payment. On October 12, 2026, Radisson's FAQ named no cryptocurrency. Its website does list "XBT Bitcoin" in the currency menu, next to gold and silver ounces. That menu only changes how prices are shown; we found no page that lets you pay in bitcoin.

Why does a Radisson hotel pre-authorize your credit card?
To make sure you can settle the final bill. Radisson explains that staff swipe your credit card at check-in to check that enough funds are available. The amount stays on hold for the whole stay and depends on the hotel and the length of your stay.
No money is taken: the hold shows as a pending transaction. It can take up to five days after departure to be released. You can still pay the final bill with a different card. Paying ahead with StaySats does not remove the hotel's incidental deposit at check-in.
Can you check in at a Radisson Blu with a debit card or cash?
Plan on a credit card. The FAQ is direct: participating Radisson Hotel Group hotels only accept credit cards for pre-authorization. It does not mention cash or debit cards anywhere else.
If you have no credit card, call the hotel before you book. The direct number is in your confirmation email and on the hotel page. Ask whether it makes an exception and get the answer in writing. Our check-in without a credit card page lists groups with looser rules.
Can you still use a Radisson gift card?
No. The Radisson Hotels gift card was a prepaid card in euros or pounds sterling. It paid hotel charges at nearly 300 Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Park Inn by Radisson and Park Plaza hotels.
Radisson's FAQ says gift cards are no longer sold since May 1, 2020. Valid cards could be redeemed until April 30, 2022; after that date, all cards expired. Voucher codes are a different thing: limited-time discounts, which cannot be bought.
What does a late cancellation cost at Radisson?
At least one night's room charge and tax, billed to the card you gave at booking. Radisson adds that cancellation policies vary by hotel, so you may owe more under the terms you accepted. The policy is shown before you confirm and repeated in the confirmation email.
Most Radisson hotels welcome guests from 2:00 p.m. and ask for checkout by 12 p.m. Early check-in and late checkout depend on each hotel.
