Does Wyndham accept crypto, debit cards or cash?
Not crypto. On October 12, 2026, Wyndham's FAQ named no coin and required a credit card for every online booking. It does not mention debit cards. Whether you can pay cash, and how much deposit you leave, depends on the hotel. A refunded deposit can take up to 30 days. StaySats can prepay the room in crypto, not that deposit.

What does Wyndham's FAQ say about paying for a room?
A credit card first, then the rate decides the timing. Wyndham states that a credit card is required for all reservations made online. The booking runs on a secure server that encrypts the card number.
With a flexible rate, the card is not charged at booking: you pay at check-in or checkout. With a non-cancelable rate such as "Pay Now & Save", or when the hotel sets its policy to prepaid, the card is charged immediately. On October 12, 2026, the FAQ named no cryptocurrency and no bitcoin option.
Can you pay a Days Inn, Super 8 or La Quinta in cash?
Sometimes, but only the hotel can tell you. Wyndham's answer on cash is short: the ability to pay for your stay with cash varies by hotel. Even if you plan to pay on arrival, an online booking still needs a credit card.
Wyndham says all its hotels are either franchised or managed by one of its companies. That is why each hotel keeps its own rules on cash, deposits and debit cards. Email the hotel with your dates and ask three things: cash for the room, cash for the deposit, and debit cards.
How long does a Wyndham deposit take to come back?
Up to 30 days. Wyndham's FAQ says a deposit can take that long to be refunded and to show on your account, depending on bank processing times. It publishes no deposit amount; each hotel sets its own.

What if you arrive late or leave early?
A late arrival is fine; an early departure can cost you. Every booking guaranteed with a credit card is held for late arrivals. Wyndham asks you to note a late arrival under "Special Requests" when you book, and to call the hotel if you arrive the next day.
Leaving early is different. Wyndham warns that you may be charged for the nights you originally booked, because cancellation policies vary by hotel. If you don't cancel in time and don't show up, the card on the booking is charged.
Did Wyndham ever have a crypto option?
Only through its loyalty points, and it has ended. Wyndham Rewards points could be used in the Bakkt app, which also let users buy crypto. A Wyndham email, quoted by Frequent Miler in February 2023, set March 15, 2023 as the last day to use the points there. Bakkt shut its consumer app on March 16, 2023, per The Block.

What ID and age rules apply at a Wyndham hotel?
The hotel's own rule, plus the law of its country. Wyndham's FAQ says the minimum age to book a room varies by hotel, and so do check-in and checkout times. It publishes no group rule on ID.
You can book a room for someone else. Wyndham says the hotel then updates the reservation with the real guests' names and details at check-in. Abroad, national law adds its own rules: see hotel ID rules by country.

Does Wyndham accept bitcoin?
No. Wyndham's FAQ, read on October 12, 2026, names no coin and requires a credit card for every online booking. To pay for a Wyndham-brand hotel in bitcoin, use a seller that converts it. StaySats takes BTC after 2 confirmations and holds the total until the hotel confirms.
Does La Quinta or Super 8 take debit cards?
Wyndham's FAQ does not say, for any of its brands. Online, it asks for a credit card. At the desk, each hotel decides. If you only hold a debit card, call the hotel before you book and ask whether it accepts one for the deposit.
Will Wyndham charge me if I don't show up?
Yes. Wyndham says reservations are automatically guaranteed to your credit card. To avoid a charge, cancel within the hotel's cancellation policy for your rate and dates. A "Pay Now & Save" rate is charged at booking and cannot be canceled.
How long until my Wyndham deposit is refunded?
Up to 30 days, according to Wyndham's FAQ, depending on your bank. A debit card deposit blocks real money during that time. A credit card deposit only lowers your available credit.
Can I pay for a Wyndham room in USDT?
